Miss Mary Leitch has been a member of staff for the past six years and it is with much pleasure that I testify to her excellent abilities as a teacher.
Miss Leitch has taught children of all ages, from the little ones in our kindergarten to girls of sixteen and seventeen years old, and is especially happy with the little ones.
She has also had entire charge of the Army Class, and her pupils are warmly attached to Miss Leitch. She has a bright, breezy manner of teaching which rouses the attention of her pupils and makes her lessons both interesting and attractive.
Her loyalty to her colleagues and her Principal is beyond praise. Her character is earnest, and every task entrusted to her is done with keen interest and thoroughness. She throws herself into her work with such ardour.
I believe Miss Leitch has all the qualities necessary for success in any future appointment. She would make an excellent Head Mistress of the High School for Girls.
